Actor to Avatar represents my final practical dissertation, crafted as a formal exploratory documentary. The production used Panasonic 180 and Screen Acting Studio hardware alongside Unreal Engine. This piece highlights my technical post-production growth while showcasing the expert cinematography and technical proficiency of University of Salford Mo Cap specialists (Connoll Pavey, Jake Louden, Alex Heald) and studio technicians (Ryan Taylor, Jason Williams)

During my final year video project, I contributed as both a performer and co-editor alongside Callum Bagot for The Five Stages of Grief.

The narrative examines Maria's emotional journey following a significant separation. This visually striking production emphasizes color theory, providing a valuable opportunity to refine my editorial expertise within a highly collaborative environment.

Cloths of Heaven marked my initial major editing assignment during my second academic year. As the offline editor, I was responsible for translating this moving narrative into a 30-minute short film by combining diverse montage and dialogue sequences. This experience advanced my data management and efficiency under strict deadlines.

Studio and Gallery Work

During my academic tenure, I proactively engaged with different experiential learning opportunities to expand my technical expertise.

In the screen acting studio, I acquired skills in live gallery operations and live editing. Through presenting modules, I gained professional skills in operating studio cameras, talkback systems, and managing gallery workflows.

Furthermore, I directed and assisted voice recording studios for both collaborative and independent productions.

I am committed to advancing these proficiencies, driven by a genuine passion for studio environments.
